  4.  This directory contains a complimentary edition of Personal Paint version
  5.  6.4, for exclusive distribution through the Aminet and Meeting Pearls
  6.  internet and CD-ROM collections. This is the full commercial version (not
  7.  a demonstration version), with a few limitations due to space and
  8.  licensing reasons (support for some file formats, such as GIF, is
  9.  missing, and the artwork and documentation files are also not included).

  12.  upgrade offer to the full version 7.1 CD-ROM follow in this text.

  46.  The new features of the Personal Paint 7.1 CD-ROM (compared to version
  47.  6.4) include:

  49.  - New and improved file formats, including Photo CD (licensed by Kodak),
  50.    GIF (licensed by Unisys), BMP (Windows and OS/2), JPEG (not a DataType
  51.    any more), 24-bit DataTypes, PBM and TIM (loads TIM graphics files
  52.    directly from Sony PlayStation CDs, with extended TIM saving options
  53.    for developers)

  55.  - Professional Internet features like GIF animations, a map editor, and
  56.    everything needed to achieve maximum image quality in a compact size

  221.  It took 10 years of hard work to create the superb art which is contained
  222.  on this CD-ROM. The Kara Collection includes all packages previously
  223.  published by Kara Computer Graphics for the Amiga, plus many more, in an
  224.  exclusive and professional edition reorganized and enhanced by Cloanto.

  226.  This CD-ROM contains 80 ColorFonts (including effects like brick, glass,
  227.  chrome, chisel, etc.), 5 AnimFonts (handwriting, rotating characters,
  228.  static wipes, sparkles, etc.), hundreds of alternate colour palettes,
  229.  Starfields (moving stars seen from different perspectives), Plaquegrounds
  230.  (backgrounds such as granite, marble, sand-stone, wood, etc.), and
  231.  software for special effects in pictures, animations, titling and
  232.  presentations. All items for solo or combined use.

  234.  The Kara Collection also includes two software packages developed by
  235.  Cloanto to manage bitmapped fonts: ColorType for colour fonts and the
  236.  Personal Fonts Maker for black and white fonts. Both have been acclaimed

  240.  program for Personal Paint, which renders any string of characters into
